Eligibility:
Undergraduate students with an interest in banking or finance are strongly encouraged to apply for the fellowships. Applicants must:
* Be studying full-time in an undergraduate course at UWA
* Be enrolled in a Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Economics (or equivalent degree)
* Have completed at least one year (48 points) of their degree
* Be planning to undertake exchange in their second or third year of study
* Demonstrate an excellent academic track record (minimum WAM 65%)
* Not be a resident of Hong Kong
Scholarship Open for International Students: No
Scholarship Description: The ANZ UWA Business School Asia Fellowships have been created to provide business students interested in the banking and finance sector with the opportunity to undertake a combined exchange/internship programme in the Asia Pacific region. Each fellowship is valued at $10,000, and includes:
* Six months exchange at the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Hong Kong
* Paid internship at ANZ Hong Kong, of up to three months duration
The first round of applications closes on 12 December 2011, and the successful applicant will undertake their exchange in Semester 2, 2012. Following this, one fellowship will be awarded to a UWA student each semester.
